I just returned from four magical fairy princess days

visiting my friend Yvette in Dallas

we shopped

we spa'd

we drank

we dined

we stayed up until all hours

talking talking talking

Conversations with Yvette always infuse me with a mega dose of

which was my super score during this trip to Dallas

I think the dark faux fur collar 

on my coat works better with my coloring

and reduces my chances of having an 

uncomfortable encounter with a PETA person

The Anthropologie store in Highland Park

(think Beverly Hills Texas style)

is huge and the customer service is sublime

even by Anthro standards

I try to buy Christmas ornaments whenever I travel

reminiscing about trips is one of my favorite parts

of putting up the Christmas tree

I had seen these initial ornaments at my local Anthro

but they didn't have the initials I wanted

e (elsie) l (lindsey) j (james)

they didn't have them at the Dallas store either but

the lovely and oh so helpful sales person offered to

order them on line for me

 shipping was FREE since they weren't available in the store

then these adorable little lower case initial pins

caught my eye

the combination of the 

little puzzle piece and the "find my match" 

on the display card

completely sealed the deal
